Club Championship Update - September 2026 - Part Two
Too much news for one post this month so we're doing part two!
On the 13th, Myra travelled to Cumbernauld and ran their 10k race. Well done, Myra.
The last time trial of the year was a 5k and was held on the 15th on the multi-use path, from Eshiels to Cardrona bridge and back. A whopping 18 seniors turned up and ran very well.
The first parkrun tourism of the month was Gillian and Dean, a lovely sunny day at Riverside Park, Glenrothes. I hope there was a café stop after?

On the same day Myra, Natasha and Erin went to Meadowmill parkrun, Tranent. A lovely morning and proof that it isn’t a Moorfoot parkrun tourist run if there isn’t a café involved!

On the 20th, Andrew Fish took a trip to Blairgowrie and enjoyed the Rattray Beaver 10k. Well done, Andrew.
Natasha and Myra went off on some more parkrun tourism on the 26th and had a lovely morning at Oriam.

The same day, Erin was over 100 miles away and went to a very well attended (there were 599 people) parkrun at Torvean, Inverness.

The 27th saw Gillian, Dean and Coreen going to Dalkeith Country Park for the Wild Deer Event. Coreen ran the 10k. Gillian and Dean completed the 5k. Well done to you all.

Also on the 27th, Erin completed her first ever marathon at the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of Running. By the looks of those smiles, she enjoyed every minute! She was very disappointed not to see Nessie!

Check out the latest club championship update below. There's still plenty of time to add more!
If you want to claim any points, or need to make any corrections, just drop Erin an email or message (via Spond is probably best). And as always, send in your pictures to keep the blog interesting!
