Club Championship Update - Early May 2025

There’s been a lot of running activity in the last two weeks. Huge congratulations to Jen, Rosie, and Eilidh for completing the London Marathon!

On the same day, five others took part in the beautiful Hidden Glen 10K: Sarah, Dean, Maggie, Hugh and Andrew – well done! 

A decent group participated in the 10K time trial last Thursday, showing superb effort. David, Coreen and Neil finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the age-graded results - great job! Thanks to everyone who volunteered on the evening, particularly Mike.

Kerry and Colin travelled to the Lake District for the Lakeland Trails event at Staveley. Colin ran the (very hilly) 10K (actually 11.7K) making it into the top ten with 8th place. Kerry smashed the (even hillier) half marathon finishing 10th female.

Lastly, don't forget the Penicuik 10K on Saturday 10th of May; it’s known for its superb refreshments. Be sure to sign up if you haven't yet!
