On 6th June, Sam, Andrew and Erin ran 10k from Aaron House, Penicuik to Stewart Brewing, Loanhead Industrial Estate. Worth every step for the beer and pizza!

Kerry and Colin took part in the Coniston 10k on 7th June. Despite the wet weather, they still enjoyed themselves. Well done to them both.

Well done, Ewan on completing the Cairngorm Ultra Trail on June 13th. Ewan completed the “wee route” at Cairngorm Ultra in 8:05:42, finishing 14th out of 26 in the 50 km field on a day that featured plenty of wind, rain, bog, and character-building opportunities. He was pleased to finish strongly, remain injury-free, and then enjoy a beer or two afterwards with Tim and Dorien after their marshalling exploits.

On the day Beltane started (14th June), Coreen ran the Windermere marathon, well done for the amazing finishing time, quite a feat with all those hills!

The two pubs race, 4.7 miles, from Oxton back to Lauder. We were then treated to a fabulous buffet (the highlight of Dean, Jack and Micheal’s evening!). That’s why they aren’t in the photo, they were too busy waiting for the buffet to be served!!
Many prizes were brought home, including, Gillian, Coreen, Jack, Kerry and Oli. Well done to you all.
Erin got a special prize for saving the day and finding a first aider so the race could go ahead.

Myra and Jack both tackled the Eildon Three Hills on Saturday 20th June. A tough route, well done to you both.
Finishing off the month of June, on the 30th, the club held a 10k time trial. A whopping 10 juniors took part. Jack came back first with a fantastic time of 32:14. 9 senior members took on the challenge. First back was Oli, in 35:15.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped it run smoothly and well done to all for running.
Check out the latest club champs standings below. There's still plenty of time to add more!
