May certainly got off to a good start with Miriam completing the Fife Pilgrim Way Ultra, 90 km with 1,200 meters of elevation. Well done, Miriam!

On the same day, Myra and Erin took on some parkrun tourism at Kelso, with a café stop, obviously!

A soggy Penicuik 10k, but it was fun nonetheless. Myra brought home the 1st Female Masters 60+, well done! There were lots of cakes, but we were too busy scoffing them to take photos.

While we were getting soggy at Penicuik, Tim was completing 35.5 miles of the Kintyre Way Ultra, in beautiful weather. Well done Tim. We are all very proud of you.

A busy Moorfoot weekend. On the Sunday, Coreen took part in the Loch Leven Half Marathon, bringing home the 1st female in her age category. Well done, Coreen.

The same day (I told you it was a busy weekend!), Kerry, Jen, Andrew F and Erin went to Dalkeith Country Park to run the MYPAS Bluebell Trails. Unfortunately, we were all too busy having fun and forgot to take any photos, but a picture of the bluebells was managed! Beautiful!

A Monday evening event, with lovely weather and beautiful views. Balerno Children’s Gala Week Rigg Race. Fancy dress if you wanted, but only one of us took up that offer! Can you see whom?

We had our second Time Trial of the year with 5 juniors running the 3km and 9 running the 5km along with 9 seniors. Well done to everyone who ran and those who helped out with marshalling and timing. Next up is the 10km at the end of June!
The last ever Wobbly Bridge Race, which we are all very sad about. The sun came out and made it a lovely day. A whopping 24 Moorfooters made it to this race!

Mostly smiling faces at the finish line. It was Sam’s 50th Birthday and we made sure to embarrass him in many ways.

Four of the team got podium places, Alex, Gillian and Coreen in their relevant age categories and Jack won the last ever Wobbly Bridge! Well done to you all.

A photo of the whole team. Tim making sure Dean has his laces tied correctly and proof that Sarah is a bit crazy by lying in the river, mid race, and Dean was tired, after the race!

Wednesday evening this time, with Gypsy Glen Hill Race. A great turn out and thank you to Jen for organising it and to everyone who helped on the night.

If you want to claim any points, or need to make any corrections, just drop Erin an email or message (via Spond is probably best). And as always, send in your pictures to keep the blog interesting!
